House Moves to Protect Same-Sex Marriage From Supreme Court Reversal -- The New York Times

No matter who you love, every person deserves the same rights and freedoms. But after the Supreme Court rolled back reproductive rights, Justice Clarence Thomas made it clear that marriage equality could be next.

On Tuesday, the House took action to ensure protections are in place for crucial freedoms – passing legislation to codify same-sex marriage nationwide and strengthen marriage-equality protections. Now, we need the Senate to act.

Throughout his career, Seth has worked to secure rights for the LGBTQ+ community. He was proud to serve as the treasurer for the successful campaign for marriage equality in Rhode Island in 2013 and in Congress, he'll support legislation that protects the LGBTQ+ community from discrimination.

But while Seth joined the fight for equality, his Republican opponent Allan Fung, opposed marriage equality for same-sex couples. If we're going to continue to make progress for LGBTQ+ Americans, we can't afford to elect Allan Fung to Congress.
