John,
There is ZERO justification for a $60 BILLION increase to an already
enormous defense budget when so many of our neighbors are struggling to
pay bills and make ends meet.
Yet, that’s what the House did last week: voted for a $60 billion defense
budget increase. We do NOT need billions more on top of the massive
military spending that already exceeds defense budgets of the following 11
countries combined.
We need to cut our bloated defense budget and invest in working people.
That means investing in health care for all, public education, childcare,
housing, clean energy, climate resiliency, and so much more.

you’re with me in this fight, please chip in $3 to my
campaign. I’m in Congress, and running for re-election, to fight for the
people, not a few powerful private defense contractors. We need
investments in our people now!

I’ve consistently voted No on these bloated defense budgets and I’ve
consistently advocated for a 10% cut to military spending. If we cut the
Pentagon budget, those billions could go towards public health, fighting
against climate change, and strengthening the social safety net. We could
invest in the people instead of war and private defense corporations.
This defense budget would be far higher than any passed under Trump. With
so many folks in need of health care, dignified housing, affordable child
care, support to pay their gas bills, and more, we need to focus on
solutions and investments to help the people. Congress has a duty to the
people.

John. Please support my work
today with a $3 donation today. We, together, must ensure
Congress is legislating for the people, not corporate interests.
Thank you for fighting for a better future.
In solidarity,
Pramila
