[This Weekend] Campaign Office Opening in San Marcos!
Chip in to help launch our organizing efforts » [[link removed]]

This Saturday, I’m thrilled to officially open our campaign office – the first time a Democratic congressional campaign has been headquartered in San Marcos!

We’re launching our General Election organizing efforts just as we approach an important milestone – 100 days until Election Day.

Before our Saturday office opening, though, I’ve set an important grassroots goal for our campaign – raising $10,000 to fund our organizing efforts in the district. Will you pitch in $10 before the end of the day tomorrow? [[link removed]]

Republicans have tipped their hand: They and their extremist allies will do anything to take back control of Congress and finish the job the Supreme Court started when it stripped us of the right to privacy and stripped away individuals’ reproductive rights and freedoms.

This week, I joined my House colleagues in passing legislation to codify marriage equality – which we know is next on the GOP chopping block.

There’s no other way to put it: If we don’t reach our organizing goals and connect with every voter in our new district, we risk handing over control of the House to extremists and Republicans.

Please give whatever you can to help us turn out Democrats this November! [[link removed]]

Thanks so much,

– Scott
