Friend – I won my last race by less than 1%. There is zero doubt that if I had lost to my Republican opponent, Donald Trump would have used the Nevada Attorney General’s office to carry out his extreme agenda. 

Today, the threats to our democracy are far from over: Republican-controlled legislatures in states like Georgia, Texas, and Florida are working around the clock to roll back our most fundamental rights – from access to the ballot box to reproductive freedom.

As Attorney General, I've fought Trump's "Big Lie,” defended Nevadans' civil rights, and expanded opportunities for working families. But now, national Republicans are coming after me as their top target for defeat – spending millions to reclaim this office – and I simply can't fight back without your immediate grassroots support.

Like so many Nevadans and families across our country, I know what it feels like to think the system is rigged against you. As a child, dreams of going to college or buying a home seemed out of reach. Luckily, I had a mom whose dreams for me expanded beyond the neighborhood block I grew up on.

She taught me that there's no challenge that can’t be overcome through hard work and a commitment to doing what’s right. That’s the attitude I believe we need guiding our attorney general’s office. There is no criminal too ruthless and no corporation too powerful that I won’t take on if they're hurting people.

But we can't ignore the facts: Nevada is one of the most contested AG races this November – and with our very democracy at stake, we can't afford to lose here. So please, friend, will you chip in today?
