John, I’m about to ask you to split a donation between No Dem Left Behind and  my grassroots campaign. But first, I want to tell you why I’m confident we can prove the skeptics wrong and win this battleground race.

1. Republican Senator Rob Portman is retiring, leaving Ohio’s Senate seat wide open. Republicans are fighting it out in a messy and expensive primary—giving us a stronger chance of flipping this seat blue.
2. Ohio already has a Democratic Senator. Sherrod Brown has proven that Ohioans want to elect a Senator who puts workers first.
3. Recent polling has me within single digits of my Republican opponents. It’s still early in the race, and the more we get our message out, the more voters we’ll win over.
4. Working people are fed up and ready for change. I’ve been traveling all over the state, and Ohioans, just like other Americans, are sick of handouts for big corporations and billionaires—they want good-paying jobs, health care they can afford, and a fair shot for their kids to succeed. 
5. We have grassroots momentum. While my rich Republican opponents are propping up their campaigns with millions of their own dollars, we’re powered by folks who chip in $5, $25, or $100 at a time.

So, John, we have a real path to winning this race—but it will take everything we have to pull it off.  

Here’s my ask: Will you chip in $20.22 or whatever you can spare today to split between No Dem Left Behind and my campaign to keep up our grassroots energy and hit our fundraising goals?
