Public Notice: Crow Creek Watershed Sediment TMDL Public Comment

Public Notice: 45-Day Comment Period
For the Crow Creek Watershed Sediment
TMDL in Laramie County

The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WDEQ) has prepared a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) to address sediment impairments in Crow Creek in the vicinity of Cheyenne, Wyoming. The TMDL established limits for both point and nonpoint sources that contribute sediment loads to the impaired waterbody. These limits represent the maximum amount of daily sediment loading that can occur and still achieve compliance with the WDEQ?s water quality standards.

The TMDL document is available for public comment through the WDEQ comment portal (http://wq.wyomingdeq.commentinput.com) until 5:00 p.m. September 6, 2022. Requests for additional information related to the TMDL document should be directed to Ronald Steg by email ([email protected]) or phone (307-335-6980). Comments must be made through the comment portal. Para espa?ol, visite http://deq.wyoming .gov/
