Canvassing

In-person outreach is the #1 most effective way to get out the vote and spread David’s message for bold and progressive change in Congress! Please join our team every Saturday and Sunday from 3 PM - 7 PM as we canvass each neighborhood in our district and meet our constituents.

This week, we are heading to:

Sat. July 23 (3 PM - 7 PM) - El Sereno (meet at Klamath/N Eastern)

Sun. July 24 (3 PM - 7 PM) - Lincoln Heights (meet at Mission/Main)

Fundraising

Calling all writers/copywriters!!

The campaign needs help to write fundraising emails sent out on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. I know asking for money is super annoying, but fundraising is crucial to ensure David can do as much outreach to CA-34 as possible! You don't have to commit to writing 1 email every week, but if you could write 1 email per month or every 2 weeks, that would help us immensely! The email length is pretty short and sweet (around half a page on Word) and the general topic of the email is flexible and can relate to current events.

Volunteer Announcements!

• THIS Thu. July 21 at 7 PM PST, please check out David’s Livestream with reproductive rights organizer Selene Betancourt, where they will discuss abortion rights, bodily autonomy, and what can be done in the Post-Roe political era.

• Our All Hands Volunteer Zoom meeting previously scheduled for Mon. July 25 is postponed.
• The Campaign Summer Picnic for all staff, volunteers, supporters, and friends is a GO for Sat. afternoon, August 13! Location and time TBA. Keep your calendars free :)
