Planned Parenthood Action Fund just endorsed Chris -- and we couldn’t be more excited to have this organization in our corner as we head into 2020.
Chris has been a long time advocate for Planned Parenthood. When the NH GOP tried to defund Planned Parenthood in 2011, Chris stepped up to run for the New Hampshire Executive Council. After he won the race, Chris led the charge to reverse that decision and fund health centers that provide vital services for New Hampshire patients.
Ensuring Planned Parenthood’s doors remain open is deeply important to Chris. More than 13,000 women and men in New Hampshire -- and hundreds of thousands more across the country -- depend on Planned Parenthood for affordable, non-judgmental family planning services and the life-saving healthcare they offer our communities.
In Congress Chris will always stand up to oppose any and all attempts to restrict women’s access to reproductive health services and work to ensure women’s health centers are funded.
Here at Team Pappas, we believe the people of New Hampshire’s First District -- and all Americans -- need and deserve a government that will work for them. And that’s exactly what Chris does each day.
But New Hampshire’s First District is not safe in 2020. National Republican groups like the NRCC, the CLF, and the pro-Trump super PAC America First Action are already directly targeting Chris. If we’re going to protect reproductive rights across the country, then we need to keep Chris in Congress.
