Running for office is not easy. It is exhausting -- and expensive. But I am doing it, because like you, I want more for our country. I want leadership that will not only say what is happening in the White House is wrong, I want leadership who will act - and act loudly.

We know I am the grassroots candidate in this race. I am the candidate who is running because I don’t care what the establishment says. I will be the Senator who will be bold, who will be progressive, who will beat Cory Gardner -- and make Colorado better for all of us.

And I will say “NO” to special interests. I will not take corporate PAC dollars.

But special interests and out of state money are giving some in this race an upper hand. We need to stay competitive and gain access to the same resources. To meet our needs to compete we need to raise another $20,000 by the end of the year.

We need to call, text, email and send snail mail to introduce myself to voters and inform them about the process of getting me on the ballot. That process is coming up fast - and we need to let people know about our vision and my candidacy. We can do it working together.
