Lawmakers in DC are still debating the HR 1808 "assault weapons" ban, and you won't believe what they're saying.

Here's a quick highlight reel of some of the statements anti-gunners have made today regarding you and your guns:

• Firearms like the AR-15 cause exit wounds that are "a foot wide" and make human "skulls explode on impact"
• An M1 Garand in .30-06 is an "ancient" firearm, whereas the M16 and the AR-15 are unusually dangerous
• That a stabilizing brace functions exactly like a bump stock and turns a firearm into a fully-automatic gun
• "Tiny men" like you need to have "big guns" in order to feel powerful that should be banned
• That 20 million semiautomatic rifles are in common use and should be banned despite having Constitutional protection
• That 20 million semiauto rifles are actually NOT in common use, therefore it should be easier to ban them
• And yet, at the end of it all, HR 1808 according to Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) is about banning firearms that are in common use

We are literally witnessing members in the House of Representatives behaving as though we are living in the movie "Idiocracy."

Unfortunately, unless we can stop these tyrants, HR 1808 could be advanced to a FULL FLOOR VOTE.
