Without Cory, the stage will be missing one of the strongest advocates for criminal justice reform in our party; we’ll be missing the person who led the presidential field on gun licensing; we’ll miss Cory’s unique and transformative plan to end the racial wealth gap; and we’ll have no one on stage reminding us that beating Donald Trump is the floor, not the ceiling, of what we must achieve in this election, and that if we want to create lasting change, we have to fight with love, empathy, and compassion.
