Today, we get duelling impeachment news. In the Blue Corner, we have that well-known
heavyweight, Jerry Nadler of the House Judiciary Committee. Today, he tells us his
next move regarding Articles of Impeachment. And in the Red Corner, we have a newcomer
to the fray, FBI Inspector General ("IG") Michael Horowitz will weigh in with his
report on the (mis)conduct of the FBI from the beginning of the 2016 Trump Campaign
through the present. For those who have not been paying attention, the Horowitz
IG Report has the potential to so taint the testimony and evidence that is being
weighed by the Nadler Committee that it may shut down the impeachment entirely,
or failing that, may be weighty enough to cause it to lose enough support among
Democrats to be passed out of the House of Representatives. In any event, it is
likely to lead to criminal prosecutions down the line, so stay tuned...
