Hello – Mueller’s testimony today is a stark reminder that Russia attacked our elections to help elect Donald Trump, the president is NOT exonerated of obstruction of justice, and the Republican Party has no interest in investigating either of these important truths.
Today, former Special Counsel Robert Muller is reiterating two important truths before Congress:
1) Russian meddling in our elections deserves the attention of every American.
2) Mueller’s investigation did NOT exonerate President Trump of obstruction of justice.
But what you are hearing from Republicans in Congress is that the “case is closed.”
Republicans in Congress have no interest in preventing future Russian meddling in our elections.
And they have no interest in holding President Trump accountable for his actions.
If we’re going to restore the soul of our Democracy, we must lay the groundwork now for a Democratic victory in 2020.
When we have a Democratic nominee next year, they will need to hit the ground running with grassroots Democrats already organized to win. It’s time to turn our outrage into action to defeat President Trump.
