President Biden keeps denying responsibility for the state of the American economy.
Every time questions of inflation or taxes come up, the President reverts to blaming Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. This is troubling for two reasons:
President Biden is lying. Inflation began before Russia invaded, and America’s energy sector was already under attack by the Biden administration. Russia’s invasion made these conditions worse, but Biden still bears responsibility.
If President Biden can’t acknowledge what led to these crises, he can’t fix them.
That’s why the upcoming midterm elections are vital. Since President Biden refuses to acknowledge how we got into this mess, and since Democrats refuse to stand up to the head of their party, only Republicans can hold Biden accountable, and start undoing the harm done to our economy.
