Friend, I'm honestly disgusted right now.

Last night, GOP Rep. Chabot voted against codifying the rights of same-sex marriage put in place by Obergefell v. Hodges .

The vote was just a small part of a larger pattern of cruelty from Chabot against the LGBTQ+ community. From saying that marriage is between one man and one woman, to repeatedly voting for a federal constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, one thing is clear:

GOP Rep. Chabot continues to prove that he is too extreme to represent us in Congress.

From government-mandated pregnancies to deciding who we can love and marry – Chabot and his right-wing colleagues only care about imposing their outdated, narrow views on our lives.

To our LGBTQ+ community and to everyone who believes in equality – I will always stand with you.
