50 Republicans + Sen. Manchin have seemingly blocked congressional climate action, which means the President must deliver on climate action NOW.? ? WE NEED EXECUTIVE CLIMATE ACTION
With very little prospect of immediate climate legislation in Congress, it is imperative that President Biden and his administration take bold executive action right now to reduce climate pollution and ensure no dirty fossil fuel projects move forward. TELL BIDEN:

When Senator Manchin seemingly walked away from transformative climate legislation last week, he said that he didn?t want to add ?fuel to this inflation fire? ? ignoring the fact that, in addition to tackling the literal fires of climate change, clean energy investments would have saved families money right away and created thousands, if not millions, of jobs.?

Because of this hypocrisy and inaction? ? and the continual obstruction from Big Oil and their 50 Republican Senate allies ? we are now calling on President Biden to boldly do everything in his authority to help prevent climate catastrophe.

The White House and the Biden administration havesignificant power to cut pollution and curb the climate crisis ? and they must use it boldly and swiftly. That includes: Sticking to their no-leasing pledge and stopping any new oil and gas drilling leases on public lands and waters? Requiring carbon capture from power plants and other major emitters of climate pollution? Placing strict limits on air pollution to safeguard all communities Strengthening standards for cleaner cars and trucks Protecting communities from hazardous and super-polluting methane Conserving our public lands and waters Declaring a climate emergency ? and so much more.
President Biden has incredible power to act ? and there is no time to waste.
For the sake of our planet and future generations, tell President Biden and his administration to use every possible lever within the executive branch to curb climate pollution, protect the health of our families, and advance environmental justice for frontline communities.? [link removed]
