I told you I'd do it, and I am!

All lanes are re-opened on the newly expanded 301/Bloomingdale and I-75 onramp and intersection. The light is up at Rhodine and will start cycling next week, the stop sign has been installed on Dorman, and I'm just getting started! In all, we've paved hundreds of miles of local roads and repaired sidewalks, and thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, work is ahead of schedule for Big Bend and the Boyette I-75 interchanges as well!

It wasn't just my projects–like Safe Routes to School, the expanded Bloomingdale and 301 onramp to I-75, or the resurfacing of Brandon Blvd–that were fully funded either...

In total, I helped secure $292,002,855 for Hillsborough County roads, transportation, and infrastructure projects.

In my two years in office, we've gotten the funding, commitments, or actual completion of EVERY I-75 interchange from Big Bend Rd, to Boyette, 301 & Bloomingdale, SR-60, and even MLK!  While we're wrapping up on some, work has already BEGUN on the new Big Bend Road I-75 imrovements, the MLK diverging diamond interchange, and repaving work on Brandon Blvd.

We're making progress all across Tampa Bay! The first spans of the new Howard Frankland are in, the Westshore interchange improvements are back on track, and the Tampa to Orlando expansion of Brightline Rail was just awarded $16m from the federal government.

It's also not just the mega-projects. This week, we finally finished the new traffic signal at Balm Riverview and Rhodine, we resurfaced numerous local communities, and FINALLY we're fixing walkability with the millions I brought back to build, fix, and connect the sidewalks in Brandon so we can give our kids safe routes to school. From a stop sign on Dorman in FishHawk, to a new crosswalk by Limona Elementary–every corner of this district is getting relief.

I even helped secure nearly $5m for Port Tampa Bay's expansion to un-stuck supply chains, lower prices, and get goods moving again.

And I'm doing my best to keep everyone informed too. A few weeks back, we held a town hall for the new Big Bend Rd and I-75 project. You can view the plans and watch the project video here.

And you can help! If we want to keep this momentum going, we need to tell ALL of our neighbors that we're delivering results. We need to talk about our successes and that means we need to be able to communicate. If you want to do just that, you can donate here to my re-election.

I'm fixing these damn roads!!! I appreciate this opportunity you've given me and will keep at it as long as y'all will allow.
