Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) admitted during the hearing today that the purpose of HR 1808 is to ban firearms in common use. 

These ignorant legislators know full well that arms in common use are protected by Supreme Court precedent. And they don't care.

And they're earmarking your rights for destruction with their consideration of this new "assault weapons" ban.
