It might be a complex concept for some in Congress to understand, but I know what it means to put your body on the line.

I wasn't ashamed when I was arrested in Washington, D.C., for protesting the Supreme Court’s cruel and capricious decision that stripped us of our bodily autonomy and right to privacy when they overturned Roe v. Wade.

Every day, women and LGBTQ individuals in America must put their bodies on the line. Whether in the emergency room advocating for the care they need or just taking the subway home.

I aim to get this movement’s story in front of as many voters as possible. That’s why I need your help today, John xxxxxx.

That’s why we are launching an ad fund for our new ad; we need these ads up and everywhere as soon as possible.

Since the United States Supreme Court overturned Roe, our lives have turned upside down. Extreme abortion bans have gone into effect at least six states.

People across the country are being denied prescribed medication at pharmacies because it could be used for abortion. Republicans are already pushing legislation to ban people from traveling out of state to access the necessary reproductive care.

In a post-Roe world, pregnant people who experience miscarriages are more likely to die in a country where maternal mortality is already too high. And Republicans have no shame in forcing birth on already-traumatized children who’ve experienced rape or incest.

The road to fighting for reproductive justice will be harrowing; people across the country are already rising in protest.

I will continue to fight relentlessly to codify Roe v. Wade into federal law, end the Hyde Amendment, and unrig the Supreme Court to ensure our rights are never again attacked like this.

But to make that happen, I need to get to Congress. That’s why I’m personally asking you to step up and make a $5 donation to help fund our ads today. We need to ensure a progressive wins this primary with so much at stake.
