No major problems with ballot drop boxes in 2020, AP finds
|
Hi there,
The AP did a survey of all 50 states to see if ballot drop boxes, where you can drop your ballot, were the target of any tampering or fraud in the 2020 election.
The survey revealed, “no cases of fraud, vandalism, or theft that could have affected the results.” In fact, people who used dropboxes reported that they felt safer using them.
Minnesota in 2020 saw the highest use of dropboxes in our history. Voters appreciated the convenience. Our system remained safe and secure.
Unfortunately, my opponent has said that if she wins in November, she will work to eliminate dropboxes. This policy would dangerously limit voting access in many parts of the state.
This is another example of what’s at stake in November. We cannot afford to let disinformation activists take over our elections. We’re fighting back to correct the record but I need your help. Will you please consider chipping in $5 or more now?

The AP also found that, “none of the election offices in states that allowed the use of drop boxes in 2020 reported any instances in which the boxes were connected to voter fraud or stolen ballots.”
Disinformation activists, like my opponent, are spreading baseless conspiracy theories about our elections here in Minnesota.
Here’s my promise to you: I will always lead with the truth and keep fighting to correct the record. It’s that important.
Will you help me keep reaching out to voters with the truth? Please chip in $5 or more right now →
Thanks,
Steve
