Team — tomorrow evening on primetime TV, the House select committee on January 6th will hold its last planned public hearing, and I can already predict two things that will happen with pretty reasonable certainty:

1. I will be appalled and outraged by the details we hear about Donald Trump’s blatant efforts to stage a coup.
2. It will be even clearer that we’re not doing enough to stop Trump’s efforts to steal the 2024 election.

Make no mistake, Trump is already laying the groundwork for a stolen second term. He’s got his cronies lined up to become secretaries of state in key battlegrounds this November, and he knows that with them in his pocket, a close presidential election will be tossed right into his lap.
