John-
By now, I am sure you have seen a rumor spreading around social media that myself - and 148 other Republicans - voted to kick unvaccinated service members out of the military.
That’s a lie. Period.
There wasn’t a vote on vaccines. The grifters spreading this lie don’t even reference a specific bill or provision in a bill, which should be your first clue that it’s BS.
What they’re actually referring to is the NDAA - the National Defense Authorization Act, which the House passed last week. Problem is, the only thing in the NDAA that even references vaccine status does the *exact opposite* of what these people are claiming.
The NDAA extends the PROHIBITION against dishonorable discharges for service members who don’t take the vaccine and requires the Defense Secretary to standardize the religious and administrative vaccine exemption process across services so there is uniformity.
Moreover, the NDAA also directs the Defense Secretary to brief Congress regularly on the impact the vaccine mandate is having on recruitment and retention. And this bill furthers our readiness so our military has the resources necessary to defend the United States, which is really what the people spreading these rumors are mad about. They don’t want to fund the military, which makes them no different than the Bernie bros.
They’re liars starving for clicks and attention. Don’t give it to them. Virtually every Republican who voted for the NDAA is vehemently against kicking service members out of the military for their COVID vaccine status, including and especially myself. That’s the truth.
Pay close attention to the people you saw spreading this lie. They knew it wasn’t true. They are not conservatives, and have more in common with the far left than they do with Reagan conservatives. They want to tear it all down, and that includes the United States military. They believe the best way to do that is to infiltrate the Republican Party and transform it from within, and they do so by taking advantage of many people’s skepticism of mainstream media and politicians. There’s no principles or values they abide by, except for rank contrarianism. Why? Because that’s the quickest path to gaining attention on social media. Conservatives should stop falling for it, and expel these grifters from the movement.
Most politicians wouldn’t even bother addressing rumors and lies spread about them online… they just ignore it and hope it goes away on its own. But by now you have obviously realized that I am not like other politicians.
When people lie about my voting record or smear my name, I fight back fiercely. I confront these attacks head-on. I give my supporters - people like you - the counterpoints to refute the false narratives that are spread about myself and other conservative Republicans by grifters who wear the “red jersey” but know nothing about conservative ideals and do nothing to further the conservative cause.
And when you donate to my campaign, your hard-earned money doesn’t just sit in a “war chest.” It is put to immediate use, growing our movement with events like my annual Youth Summit, persuading more people to join the Republican Party, and electing strong conservatives in the swing seats we need to win to give us a governing majority.
I am not going to change. I am not going to bow to the mob. And I will not shy away from confronting lies with the truth, regardless of which side is spreading those lies.
If that is something you can get behind, please donate to my campaign - any amount helps. You can do that by clicking
