Folks – It’s only been five days since ballots dropped, and the energy behind this campaign is SURGING.

 

I’m getting messages of support from all across the district. We have more volunteers signing up all the time. We’ve knocked on more than 12,000 doors and we’re still going.

Now people are calling to tell me they’ve spotted our signs at events I didn’t even know were happening!

We also had a BIG turnout at the Bellingham Pride event this last Sunday, where Team Call brought music and plenty of flair to the party.

Now comes the hard part.

 

We’ve been on track for our best fundraising month to date – but the last few days things have slowed down just a bit.

Thanks to my amazing volunteer team, we’ve been able to put our funds into practical uses like printing the signs that now blanket the district, running more campaign literature, and covering fuel expenses to reach the thousands of doors we’ve knocked.

 

But when we win on August 2nd (and we will) we’ve got to step up our game BIG TIME. I’ve got plans to bring on additional staff for the general election, but we need to raise the money now.

 

That’s what makes this $20,000 goal so important, folks , and why we can’t afford to slip behind even a little bit.
