GOP U.S. Rep. Tom Emmer voted NO on the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act. Over 300 mass shootings have been committed since the start of 2022. Recently, a gunman in Highland Park, Illinois killed eight and left nearly 30 injured during an Independence Day parade. Tom Emmer voted NO against funding and additional resources being provided to communities to stop mass shootings from happening again. Even more insultingly, Rep. Emmer serves as a member of the mental health caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives. Yet he voted NO on the bipartisan bill that would increase investments in children and family mental health services and for schools.

Jeanne Hendricks supports a woman's right to make her own health care decisions. Jeanne will fight to codify Roe into law, protect women's health, and women's rights. She will vote to pass more common-sense gun safety legislation like the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.
