John,
I wouldn’t come to you again unless it was something extremely important, and this is. Our entire legislative agenda—the expanded child tax credit, $35 insulin prices, humane immigration reform—are all on the line this year. And in a split 50-50 Senate, a single race could tip the balance of power.
In Wisconsin, the state Supreme Court has issued a ruling that will make it harder for people with disabilities, low-wage workers, and people of color to have their voices heard in this year’s midterm election. We’re running an aggressive anti-voter suppression campaign to ensure that as many eligible voters are able to cast their ballots as possible.
We’re fighting back against anti-democratic tactics that target the most marginalized communities. Now, more than ever, we need to make sure that every vote counts and we need your support. Donate $5 to help us fight back against voter suppression in Wisconsin.
With you in this fight,

John,
Last week, when Senator Joe Manchin revoked his support of a critical tax and investment plan, we saw the impact a single U.S. Senate seat can hold.
In a 50-50 split Senate any single race can tip the balance of power. One of those races is in Wisconsin, whose primary is only three weeks away. And, in a major blow to voting rights, the state Supreme Court has just issued a ruling banning the use of ballot drop boxes.
Ballot drop boxes have been in use in Wisconsin for years, and saw a huge increase in the 2020 election due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, voters will have to deliver their absentee ballots in person at a clerk’s office.[1]
Make no mistake: this egregious ruling will disproportionately impact people with disabilities, seniors, people living in rural communities, low-wage workers with inflexible schedules, and people of color.
This is one of the most important elections in Wisconsin’s history and will have a major national impact. Control of the U.S. Senate―and our entire legislative agenda―is at stake.
CHN is running an aggressive voter engagement campaign to help people overcome voter suppression and fight for our rights and democracy, but we need your help.
Donate $5 today to fight back against voter suppression in Wisconsin and help people access their right to vote!

The right to vote is one of the most fundamental rights that we have and it gives us a say in policy decisions that directly impact our lives. We should be doing everything we can to expand access to voting, not restricting it.
Thank you for your support,
