John,
I am writing to ask you to make a contribution to Mandela Barnes' campaign for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin. Please give me a chance to explain why your contribution is so important – especially today.
Tonight at midnight, Mandela faces the final FEC fundraising deadline before his primary. Shortly after it ends, he is legally required to publicly report his fundraising numbers.
The media, Mandela's opponents, and his allies will all look at this report to determine whether he is building the kind of movement that can win Wisconsin's Senate seat and defeat Ron Johnson.
Mandela is someone who will fight for an agenda that works for all of our people, not just those at the top. And unlike most candidates for U.S. Senate, he comes from a working-class background. His mom was a public school teacher and his dad worked 3rd shift at General Motors.
The only way that Mandela will have the financial resources to win this race is from lots of people contributing what they can. So before this FEC deadline ends, it is very important that he receives as many donations as possible.
That's why I am asking:
Can you split a $10 contribution between The Collective PAC and Mandela Barnes before his FEC deadline tonight? He is relying on lots of donations in order to fund his campaign.
If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be processed immediately and split between Mandela Barnes and The Collective PAC.

At a time of obscene income and wealth inequality, outrageous corporate greed, and the growing concentration of oligarchic power, it’s important that we elect progressive candidates who are prepared to challenge the status quo.
Mandela is running for U.S. Senate because he understands that we cannot continue to tolerate a system where the very rich get much richer while working families struggle to put food on the table and afford basic necessities.
Mandela understands that we must strive to be a nation that eliminates poverty and homelessness, and where every person has a livable income, the right to join a union, and increased influence on the job.
And by the way, Mandela is running his campaign the right way, funded by tens of thousands of people giving small donations – no corporate PACs or special-interest donors.
But right now, he is up against some very wealthy primary opponents who are spending millions of dollars of their own money to self-fund their campaigns. In order to keep up, Mandela needs our help ahead of this FEC deadline.
So I am asking one more time:
Can you please split a $10 contribution between The Collective Pac and Mandela Barnes’ campaign today? Any amount you can give will make a big difference for his campaign.
As long as we are in this together, there is nothing we cannot accomplish. Thank you for adding your contribution to Mandela's campaign before his important FEC deadline tonight.
In solidarity,
Bernie Sanders
