Recently, Hempstead has been under fire for losing $4.7 million of rent relief funds. YES, you read that right, losing 4.7 million federal dollars! D'Esposito serves on the board charged with overseeing this money. Working families across Hempstead (which is most of NY-04) suffered terribly because of his incompetance.
This is not the kind of leader we need in Congress.
D'Esposito has shown, time and time again, his disdain for the community of NY-04. He's focused on partisan gamesmanship - not on serving residents. You know he'll do the same thing in Congress.
There's so much on the line this fall, John. Washington is broken, and we need real leaders, not political puppets who threaten our very democracy.
