Dear John,

Nolan, age 3, was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, social communication disorder and mixed receptive-expressive language disorder. He experienced lack of coordination, lack of expected normal physiological development in childhood and delayed milestones in childhood.

Just 19 days after Nolan's diagnosis, he began receiving critical early intervention services that have been shown to improve an autistic child's lifelong outcomes. Today, Nolan is thriving.

But as a friend, you know not all children are as fortunate as Nolan. Many still do not receive a final diagnosis until much older for reasons like limited access to care, lack of parent knowledge, cultural and socioeconomic factors. This delay means that children with ASD might not get the early help they need, and this can affect their future outcomes.

That's why your support is so important. With the help of generous donors, like YOU, we can continue to provide resources and services to help people with autism live their best lives.

So don't delay. With every step you take, you're showing your support for Nolan and so many others with autism. With you by our side, we can make a meaningful lifetime impact for people with autism. Join us today.

P.S. There are lots of ways you can support Autism Speaks to make a meaningful difference, check out our other events here and choose the one that's right for you.
