Hello John We’re writing to you the day after what will likely be the hottest day ever recorded in the UK. In the face of this unprecedented and deadly heatwave, Doctors for XR felt we had no choice but to act to raise the alarm about the global climate and health emergency that we face.
At 10 am on Sunday morning six of us were arrested by police after carefully cracking the glass of the windows at the Canary Wharf HQ of the world’s biggest funder of fossil fuels, JP Morgan. Since the Paris agreement was signed in 2016 JP Morgan has poured $384.2 billion into oil, gas and coal production.
