Dear John
Ahead of the election on Thursday I have set out why I'm giving Andrew Griffith my personal endorsement to be the next MP for Arundel & South Downs. I would strongly encourage local people to support him. He and his family live in the constituency, he knows the area and its issues, and I’ve seen already how passionate and committed he is.
Andrew has had an impressive business career and I believe he would bring a wealth of experience in articulating a case and delivering results, which is what being an effective MP is all about. He would be a strong representative for Arundel & South Downs.
I very much hope that Andrew is elected on Thursday, and I will give him my wholehearted and enthusiastic support. You can watch and read my message here.
In an article for The Sun I warn against voting for other parties and thereby effectively supporting Jeremy Corbyn in a misguided attempt to stop Brexit. I conclude: "Even if you want the referendum result reversed, which most people do not, a neo-Marxist in No10 cannot be a price worth paying. It is time for those who call themselves moderates to wake up and realise the truly extreme step would be to help make Corbyn PM next week."
In an interview for the Countryside Alliance magazine, I talk about my role as its new Chairman, my passion for the countryside, and the threat to country sports which I believe is the most serious for 20 years.

With kind regards.
Yours sincerely
