Judiciary Committee Democrats Fail to Take Human Trafficking Seriously
In the Judiciary Committee Markup of H.R. 7566, the Stop Human Trafficking School Zones Act, Democrats objected to increasing penalties for human trafficking in school zones for individuals who entered the country illegally. My amendment could have achieved broad bipartisan support, but only one Democrat (from a border state) voted in favor of it.

Democrats in Congress do not believe that states should be allowed to decide abortion policy on their own. They have disdain for the 10th amendment which states that powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution or prohibited by it are reserved for the states.
