Last week, the January 6th panel highlighted Donald Trump’s tweet that spurred on a mob to storm the Capitol. In the tweet, he claimed that it was “statistically impossible to have lost the 2020 election” and called for a protest on January 6th. The protest escalated into an insurrection at a scale that nearly dismantled the democratic process.
