Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene said there was a "little
riot" at the U.S. Capitol building on January 6, 2021 -- and defended
those who attended former President Donald Trump's rally that day.
"On one side of the Capitol, people were singing, they
were praying. I mean it was, you know, amazing -- on the other side of
the Capitol, yeah, there was a little riot going on.” —Marjorie Taylor
Greene
John, does this look like a ‘little riot’ to
you?
Let’s get something straight: Donald
Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene incited a violent insurrection on
January 6, 2021, through their lies about the 2020 election and their
open calls for violence.
No one who encouraged a
violent attack on our Capitol should be allowed to serve in Congress.
That’s why we’re supporting Marcus Flowers -- the Democratic Army
Veteran running to unseat Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Please,
help Marcus DEFEAT her by contributing $10, $20, $50, or whatever
amount is meaningful to you to make sure Marjorie Taylor Greene is a
one-term Congresswoman.
Our democracy is in a fragile place because of what Marjorie Taylor
Greene has done to weaken it. We can’t let her get away with it.
Thanks for your support,
Team Flowers for Congress
