Dear members and allies,
Great news! Last week, the Senate passed an amendment to the Transportation Bond Bill that would create a low-income fare at the MBTA! This important step happened because people like you raised your voices in support of making sure all riders can afford to ride public transit.
Now, a conference committee has been appointed to come up with a final version of the legislation. We have a short window of time to let them know how important it is to keep low-income fares in the bill.
Please join us and Public Transit Public Good Coalition in letting the conference committee members know you support retaining the low-income fare language in the final version of the Transportation Bond Bill.
You can send a send an email to your legislator at the Public Transit Public Good website.
Thank you for standing with the riders and workers of the Public Transit Public Good Coalition! Visit PublicTransitPublicGood.org to learn more and get involved.
In Solidarity,
