With our Barrier To Entry: One Year Anniversary VIRTUAL Event coming up TOMORROW, we thought it would be a great time to personally introduce (and re-introduce) ourselves before seeing you on screen tomorrow.

What started as a passion project led by a handful of young progressive women who were tired of seeing working-class candidates left behind has since turned into a ground-breaking, barrier-breaking movement. We believe that the Democratic political space should be lifting up the voices of women, low-income individuals, and BIPOC — but instead we continue to see out-of-touch, privileged, and corporate-funded leaders use their advantages to remain in power. Over the past year, B/E has built a coalition of grassroots supporters in our mission to create a more equitable, more inclusive government that reflects ALL people by providing critical funding, resources, and campaign infrastructure to candidates of marginalized communities and working-class backgrounds. We are proud to be 100% women-led — by women of color, queer women, progressive women — who want to see change.
