John, January 6, 2021 was a dark day for our country: A mob, provoked by the president, stormed our nation's Capitol and tried to overthrow our government. Worst of all, more than half of Republicans in Congress did the insurrectionists' bidding by only hours later voting to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
The modern Republican Party has consistently shown its disdain for democratic institutions. Republicans continue to embrace a president who enabled an armed insurrection in the U.S. Capitol. And today's GOP is the puppet of a few powerful groups. ENOUGH is ENOUGH.
