2022 has already been a difficult year, and it’s only half over. But in the face of those who want to strip us of our rights and send us backwards, our community has stood strong. We believe that all means all, and when it comes to who can join the fight for justice, nobody should be left behind. We strive to equip our community with the tools needed to realize the full potential of self-advocacy, our community, and our rights as autistic people, whether that’s through accessible resources so everyone can understand information about issues that affect their lives, or action alerts to provide key information and scripts to use when speaking to people in power. It’s our job to quickly and effectively equip our community with the information they need to understand just what’s going on, and that means springing into action when new threats to our rights emerge.Funding for our rapid response comes from our grassroots — people like you.
We’ve been hard at work putting out new resources, but there is so much more to be done. We’re aiming to raise $17,000 by mid-August to help us create even more. Let’s do it together!
