I needed to make sure you saw this: Our quarterly fundraising reports were just released to the public, and we were outraised by our Republican opponent.
You and I both know that Long Islanders deserve better than Andrew Garbarino, who – time and again – has left the people of this community behind. But I'll be blunt: If we don’t pick up our grassroots fundraising, it will mean making cuts to the critical investments we need to win this race – things like ads, on-the-ground voter outreach, and so much more.
Friend, I don’t like having to come to you like this, but if you are able, will you please chip in to our grassroots campaign to help us get back on track to flip NY-02 blue?
