Hours after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost rushed to implement one of the most extreme anti-abortion laws in the country. It didn’t take long for Ohioans to see the cruelty of this decision.

In response to the heartbreaking story of the ten-year-old Ohio girl who had to travel to Indiana to terminate her pregnancy, Attorney General Dave Yost went on national TV and publicly accused the young girl of lying.

He also claimed that “if the story were true,” the ten-year-old girl should’ve still been able to receive treatment in Ohio under the new law, pointing to supposed exceptions. Yost was wrong on both counts.

Yost doesn’t even understand the details of the law he's implementing. No physician in Ohio could’ve provided abortion services to the ten-year-old without seriously risking a felony.

Attorney General Dave Yost continues to spread disinformation and refuses to offer an apology to the victim. Yost is not qualified to serve as Ohio's Attorney General any longer.
