Last week, a bombshell report published by The Intercept and later corroborated by CNN revealed that the US Secret Service erased text messages from January 5th and January 6th, 2021 AFTER they were requested for review by the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Inspector General.

This is a brazen obstruction of justice. As more details come out about the January 6th insurrection, we’re even more alarmed that Brad’s opponent not just promoted, but attended this attack on our Capitol. We must hold the people who wish to violently undermine the very nature of our democratic system accountable!

This is the second big revelation over the past month that raises questions about the Secret Service’s role in the Jan. 6th insurrection.

First, former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson testified that a physical altercation between former President Donald Trump and one of his top Secret Service officials erupted when he learned he was being driven back to the White House instead of to the Capitol to join his supporters after his inciting speech.

The Secret Service agents said to be involved said they would testify after this revelation, but a month later, they still have not come before the Jan 6. committee. Now, this latest news makes it all the more important that the Secret Service testifies under oath to ensure we get to the bottom of what really happened.

Insurrectionists deserve no place in our leadership – that’s why it’s so important that we not only support the January 6th Committee’s pursuit of the truth, but also oppose any insurrectionist running for office!
