Patriot, Gun-grabbers in Washington, D.C. are advancing a bill to ban the overwhelming majority of rifles in America. H.R. 1808, a gun ban bill so sweeping the Assault Weapons Ban of 1994 would blush, is scheduled for a hearing tomorrow, July 20, in the House Judiciary Committee. The bill has 212 co-sponsors, all Democrats. Never again will they be able to say they’re not planning to take guns away from law-abiding citizens. The bill itself drips with lust for disarming the American people. Not content to define what makes your household rifle an “assault weapon” (any semi-auto with a detachable magazine and pistol grip would meet their expansive definition), the bill rattles off dozens and dozens of makes and models it would prohibit you from owning. “All AR types,” the bill says, and then, for good measure: “including the following: AR 10, AR 15, Alexander Arms Overmatch Plus 16, Armalite M15 22LR Carbine…” the list goes on for pages and pages. Bushmasters, Barretts, Colts, H&Ks, Mossbergs, Remingtons, SIGs, S&Ws … hundreds of the most popular firearms in America would be banned. More than 200 types, in total. Of course, it also bans magazines that hold more than 10 rounds, too. Bills like this have been introduced by anti-gun fanatics in Congress before, if for no other reason than to make a statement to their fanatical anti-gun base. But tomorrow, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is holding a markup hearing. The bill will likely have a FULL HOUSE VOTE very soon. TELL CONGRESS NOW:
STOP THE ASSAULT ON THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS! Do you think Republicans will oppose it if they don’t hear from you? Republicans in the House and Senate just helped pass a radical anti-gun and Red Flag Gun Confiscation funding bill. Weak-kneed Republicans like Maine Senator Susan Collins, Ohio Senator Rob Portman, and others have a history of compromising on your gun rights. But it is election season, and with the reckoning on the horizon, your voice really matters. Together with millions of other liberty loving Americans, you CAN make a difference and change the course of history for the better. That’s why you must take one moment to sign the petition to your representative and senators demanding they vote NO on this unprecedented gun grab. This will be the first time in almost 30 years Congress has had a vote on a so-called “assault weapons” ban. Bans are nothing but a political game to find a scapegoat for the skyrocketing violent crime in American cities. This will do NOTHING to stop criminals – criminals DO NOT obey laws! You and I would be better served if Congress focused on the George Soros-funded radical activist prosecutors, the insane “defund the police” campaign, and the crumbling American economy. If we're going to win this battle and DEFEAT H.R. 1808, EVERYONE has to do their part. Take just one moment to sign your petition to STOP this latest and most extreme assault on the Second Amendment and pass this message on to a friend. And then, please support Campaign for Liberty’s continued efforts to defend the Constitution and Bill of Rights. We need to reach many more Americans and activate them to be involved for liberty’s sake too. >>>
