John,
When I spoke with folks after their 4th of July celebrations earlier this month, I found that many feel differently this year. After seeing one horrific news story after another — there is widespread concern about the very foundation of our democracy. With an increasing number of eligible citizens whose freedom to vote is in jeopardy for lack of a government-issued photo ID, we need to accelerate our voter assistance so they can fully participate in the critical upcoming elections.
Count on VoteRiders: We stand ready to scale up our proven suite of voter ID tools and services that identify, educate, and help at-risk voters and communities.
Time is of the essence to ensure we can complete the process of securing voter IDs in time! Please donate now to make sure VoteRiders Coordinators and Organizers can direct the necessary resources — needed right away — so voters have essential ID.

After receiving a letter with voter ID information that was sent to him by our volunteer as part of our Georgia letter-writing campaign, Keith contacted VoteRiders to get the process started. He brought that letter with him to the Department of Driver Services office and received his ID, all in time to vote early in the primary election.
Read the story of another volunteer, Lori, who successfully helped William obtain all the required documents and then his voter ID. "I was so excited. I felt like a real detective,” Lori deservedly exclaimed.
