John, in a moment, I'm going to ask you to personally endorse my campaign for Senate. But first, could you let me explain why your endorsement would mean so much to me?
I made the decision to run for office because of stories I heard from people all over our state – the people I worked with in the medical community, and some of the people I was able to serve while volunteering. I have heard countless stories from families struggling to pay their bills and keep the lights on. Stories from folks who are forgoing urgent medical care because healthcare costs are still too high. Stories from mothers who've lost children to the gun violence crisis sweeping our nation. Stories from people who just feel left out and unheard by Washington.
I'm in this race for these families and for yours, John.
The other side of the aisle is more concerned with winning over megadonors who can write fat checks. But I know it's folks like you, John, who really matter.
So while I'm so proud to have the endorsement of dozens of local and national leaders, this campaign would mean nothing without you on my side.
That's why today, I'm humbly asking for your grassroots endorsement. Please, will you add your name here to formally join our team and endorse my campaign?
It would mean the world to me to have your endorsement.
With gratitude,
Trudy
