Youngkin loses VA’s distinction as business superpower

Folks,

They say that the third time’s the charm, but it appears the Governor may have missed the memo. After two years of being named the #1 state for business, Glenn Youngkin ran a campaign on the idea that the Virginia economy was in the ditch. Six months into his term, we’ve dropped to 3rd. That begs the question: if #1 was "in the ditch," where are we now, Governor?

Glenn Youngkin’s campaign for Governor was spent claiming that he’d run Virginia like a business. Yet, predictably, his bigoted and unwelcoming “culture war” policies have pushed away businesses, dragging the Commonwealth down from our former distinction as the best state in the Union for business.

Welcoming Democratic policies built economic prosperity here in Virginia. It’s a shame that Glenn Youngkin’s incompetency has dragged our state down from our top spot on the national stage. What makes it even worse is that he doesn’t seem to be focused on working on returning Virginia to that top spot. Instead, he’s left our Commonwealth to go plan his campaign for president in 2024.

If we want to be recognized once again as the top state for business, it’s clear that we’re going to have to work to elect Democrats across the Commonwealth. When we elect Democrats, not only do we show up, but we get things done.

Can you donate to help us elect Democrats who will improve our state’s economy and help us get out of this mess caused by Glenn Youngkin?

Team DPVA
