But we have a strategy to thwart their plan: ensure voter turnout hits a record high. Because we know that when more people vote around the country, more Democrats WIN! So we’re asking you right here and now to commit to helping take back our democracy by promising you will vote in the 2020 elections: You’ve heard people say for three years now, “We need to take back our democracy.” But what does that mean? Taking back our democracy means restoring leadership in Washington to get things done for the American people. It means not having to devote so much of Congress’s time and energy towards being a constant check on the administration and it means no longer conducting domestic and foreign policy via tweeting.
