John, these new poll results just came across our desk and we wanted to make sure you saw them:
New York’s 10th Congressional District: Democratic Primary
(Margin of error +/- 3.87%, July 1 – 11, 2022)
Yuh-Line Niou 16%
Carlina Rivera 16%
Daniel Goldman 10%
Mondaire Jones 8%
Jo Anne Simon 6%
Elizabeth Holtzman 4%
Bill de Blasio 3%
Maud Maron 2%
Don’t know/undecided 40%
When Yuh-Line Niou first announced her candidacy for this brand-new district in lower Manhattan and Brooklyn, some newspapers wouldn’t even print her name.
But Yuh-Line’s record of political courage and bold leadership is resonating more and more with voters across the district every day.
The polls and all the grassroots energy we are seeing across the district makes it clear: We have a real shot at sending another WFP champion to Congress, but only if Yuh-Line and our team have the resources we need to reach voters before her primary on August 23rd.
We’re in a bit of a time crunch and need to ramp up our organizing quickly, so will you chip in $6 now? Your donation will be split between Yuh-Line Niou and WFP.

Yuh-Line has been a WFP champion since 2016, when she won her underdog bid for the New York State Assembly. She’s worked alongside WFP to advance progressive priorities in the State Legislature, including taxing the rich, historic tenant protections, and relief for immigrant workers.
And she’s shown us that she’s a true fighter for working families through her work to tackle corruption, take on the New York real estate lobby, organize for pandemic relief, and more.
Now, she’s running for Congress to represent working families and hold powerful corporations and special interests accountable in this diverse district that also happens to be home to Wall Street itself.
Big money donors and the billionaire class are hoping we fail. But we’ve seen what can happen when our grassroots movement bands together to take on corporate interests.
Time after time, we’ve shown that when we put in the resources and the time, we can win critical races like this even when our candidates are outspent. Yuh-Line’s primary election is just around the corner. We still have a lot of ground to cover to get her across the finish line – but that requires resources. Will you split a $6 contribution to Yuh-Line Niou and WFP now?
