Hi there,
I just left an event in Coralville, Iowa -- it was one of our largest rallies yet. It’s clear we’re sustaining momentum on the ground.
I wanted you to hear it from me: we have an impressive team that’s executing a smart plan, but we have a long way to go until the caucuses and the contests that follow into the spring of 2020.
My team tells me we might hit two million donations before the end of the year, and to do that, we need to hit our 50,000 donation goal tonight. Please, if you can, chip in right now. [[link removed]]
Everywhere we go, I see the momentum building for this campaign. Because everywhere I go, there are Americans looking for a new approach to unifying our country with hope and urgency.
Being hopeful is how we’ll see ourselves through what’s really a moment of truth in this country. Before us is a question that will define our future: Can we bring forth a new kind of politics, one that doesn’t punt on the biggest challenges of our time, but actually takes them on?
As a mayor from the industrial Midwest, and as a veteran of the post-9/11 forever wars, I understand what’s at stake on the ground. I understand what it’s like to turn around an economy ravaged by corporate recklessness and a city that was called “dying.” And that’s why I also understand that it’s still possible for us to come together and make everyday life better for people.
Whether it’s health care or climate change or immigration, we can put forward solutions big enough to meet this moment and unifying enough to actually get it done. It doesn’t have to be either/or.
We can have vision without division. That will be the work of my campaign, and, with your support, my presidency.
If it’s something you believe in, chip in now to help us reach this weekend’s 50,000 donation goal, and together, we can win this election. [[link removed]]
