Team,
I’m so proud to have been endorsed by The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun, and El Tiempo Latino.
But today, your endorsement – your vote – is what matters most.
This election is going to come down to razor-thin margins, so every single vote matters. If you haven’t voted yet, polls are open today from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. (don’t forget, if you’re in line at 8:00 p.m, stay in line! You can still vote!). If you already voted, be sure to forward this email to your friends and family in Maryland to make sure they remember to vote too.
Our vote is our power. It’s the most fundamental right in our democracy. And choosing who to vote for is a big decision.
I will never take your vote or your support for granted team. Since day one of my campaign, I’ve worked hard to earn your vote. To show you that my entire career has been about hard work, and getting stuff done.
You don’t have to take my word for it. Look at what others have said:
“When he says he belongs to the “GSD” — Get Stuff Done — wing of his party, none of his Democratic rivals bother to argue. Even conservatives concede he is highly effective.” - The Washington Post

“The former Montgomery County Councilmember, Harvard-trained civil rights lawyer, state and federal labor secretary and Democratic National Committee chairman is by far the most qualified and battle-tested of the candidates.” - The Baltimore Sun

“Perez, by virtue of his qualifications, his experience and previous concrete results in public office and his family history, is uniquely qualified to serve our community in this state in an effective, sympathetic and efficient manner.” - El Tiempo Latino

I’m excited to share these endorsements with you because I’m excited about what we can accomplish together if I win this primary election.
For the first time in over ten years, we can flip Maryland’s governor’s seat blue – and that means we can make some real progress!
I have a plan to bring new jobs to Maryland, to ensure fair wages and worker protections, to protect the right to choose, to pass bold police reform, and so much more.
But the first step to getting there is winning our primary today.
It’s going to be a close race, so the more people who vote, the better.

I’m so glad you’re with me in this fight, truly. Let’s go win this,
Tom
