[1]Beto O'Rourke
John, let me
explain where we stand after last week’s big Texas Ethics Commission
filings.
Here's the good news: We OUTRAISED Greg Abbott with more than half a
million contributions — and set a new record for the most money raised in
a single reporting period by a state-level candidate in Texas history!
But here's the bad news: Thanks to his corporate mega-donors and special
interests, Abbott still has more cash to spend in this election. We know
for a fact that he plans to spend over $100 million against Beto before
Election Day.
There’s so much at stake in this election, John,
and we can’t let Abbott’s corporate
mega-donors drown out Beto’s unifying message.

This race will be one of the most competitive — and expensive — in Texas
history. But while Abbott calls up his large corporate donors for check
after check, we'll be focused on delivering for the people of Texas.
Because the people of Texas are with us. They reject Abbott’s extreme
positions on abortion and guns, the hatred he stokes towards Texans, and
his blatant attacks on their rights. That’s why his support has fallen
below 50% — shockingly low for an incumbent. And it’s why 59% of Texans
say the state is on the WRONG track.
While Abbott tries to divide us, Beto is focused on building a big,
inclusive vision for Texas that encompasses everyone, but we need this
grassroots movement to have his back if we’re going to win.

Abbott?
Your support means so much to us.
Thank you,
Nick Rathod
