john,

Our country is facing a devastating gun violence epidemic. Firearm-related deaths are on the rise, and guns are now the leading cause of death among American children. This is devastating and unacceptable.

Kim knows something needs to be done to save lives and keep our communities safe. That's why she was proud to help pass a bipartisan, common sense gun safety bill last month, which President Biden signed into law.

This critical legislation will help address the gun violence epidemic. It provides incentives for states to pass red flag laws. It prevents people convicted of domestic abuse against their dating partners from owning a gun. And, it expands background checks on people aged 18 to 21 who want to purchase a firearm.

While this legislation is a step in the right direction, we still have more work ahead of us. Kim will continue fighting in Congress to keep communities across the country safe from gun violence. And we can't stop demanding action.

If you're with Kim in the fight to end gun violence, add your name to show your support of common sense gun safety legislation >>

Thanks,

Team Schrier
